MMU Award Night rocks. I had so much fun getting involve in such a huge event like this. baby jas0n was the emcee for that night <3 he look so hot btw =) me and my bestie was all dolled up. spent so much time with the committees, getting to know each other and all.

last weekend was very busy decorating the MMU Grand Hall. I was part of the decoration team fro MMU Awards 2009. there were misunderstanding, stress, last minuteness, unplanned scenarios, but all in all, it was good.

here’s some part of the deco. white candles we got from Ikea. although they are so plain and simple, we bought RM150 worth of candles! I cannot think of any occasion where I will need to buy so many candles. @_@

to save cost, we actually have to get our hands on. here’s some DIY skills i could really use. it’s not really pretty now, but when it lights up, its so awesome!

I have no clue what to get for him at first, but after i thought of the first plan, more and more ideas keep coming to my head. woah, i don’t think i have that much to execute all of them. anyhow, here are some stuff i have plan for him =)

First of, I made a reservation in Saisaki at Menara UOA. i thought of making reservations for dinner but i guess it will be too cramped. i wanted us to have all the food to ourselves, that is why we are going for a lunch buffet instead.

So far Saisaki is still the best place to go for japanese buffet. I don’t quite like Shogun or Jagoya or even Kampachi. My initial plan was to bring baby jas0n to Nikko hotel for dinner, their buffet is pretty good. Then i thought of Renaissance too, but we’ve been there so might as well bring him to Saisaki since he jakun with that place.

I had tea with Mr Octopus today.

i have been missing in action for quite sometime now. some of my friends thought i was dead >< well, bad news, i am still here. barely breathing.

for the past week i had my mid term break. as u can see here, i did not post any vacation picture taken at the beach and so on, because I HAVE NO FREAKING TIME TO GO ON A HOLIDAY! from the first day of holiday till this very day, i am either doing my assignments or studying.

oh well, can’t complain,i am not alone in this. i am pretty sure my coursemates are in the same boat as i am.

hmmm, lemme just jot down what i did this whole holiday.

… first i had my resume and cover letter done. yeap, i am going for my internship next sem. have applied for 3 companies. hopefully i will get a positive feedback. *nervous nervous, vomit vomit*

…then i park my butt in front of my laptop and work all week and also my ass off for my MI assignment. this time i am gonna do some exhibition booth for Hotlink. oh gosh, red again… remember the previous one that i did. that was for Air Asia . i tend to pick brands/companies that has red as their company colour. gonna hate red so much after this assignment. o.O here’s a sneak peak of what i have done.

oh yea, i watched Horton Hears a Who animation already. it was ok, not as great as i thought it would me. maybe because i read those movie reviews and i put my hope to high for this 1. anyway for u guys who haven’t watch it, i recommend u this movie. the elephant is so freaking cute~ got bulu… =D

the best part of this holiday i got to do something that i like.i have finally got the Ikea wall lamp that i have always wanted.

I went to Ikea so many times, but couldn’t decide of whether i should get it or not. i have fell in love at first sight when i saw it. =) and yesss, i have finally own it.

before i hang it up, i painted it. =) just wanna make it look different than the other 400+ Ikea lamp lying around Ikea.

here’s some pic of what i did.

u can do the same too. just head down to Ikea and get this lamp (it’s on sale now btw) and paint it using acrylic. try to put less water.

and if u mess up…

use some cutips. can be very very handy in craft. as soon as ur done hammer hammer and hammer..

At last, i get to sleep without having to think about my Environmental Media mock up. Finally! it’s done~!

I enjoyed myself throughout this assignment very much. every inch, bits and pieces about it. even when i fall asleep also i dream about it.

just great.

anyway, before i show u guys my final piece, i would like to thank my dearest group mate, Illy for sitting through with me in order to complete this assignment. She is so supportive and she will not let me do this on my own, even i offer to. (btw, get well soon ok?) other than that, Mr Zul had been a great help and also to those that has supported me all the way, esp daddy, i know u spent a lot on me. =)

our concept is modern and contemporary.

so don’t expect much colors as we both like to keep it simple, so it looks much more professional.

this is the top view. as u can see we made it possible to see the clouds from above.

the clouds on the ground floor is suppose to be a moving projection of clouds, that make customers feel as if that they are on air.

yeap, thats one of our main objectives.
